Toledo Salamanca Rapier

This is a full size (36") Toledo Salamanca Rapier. It has a stainless steel blade and a leather scabbard. This sword is of Spanish origin. The handle is velvet for added grip. A rapier is a slender, sharply pointed sword, ideally used for thrusting attacks, used mainly in Early Modern Europe during the 16th and 17th centuries.
